BMF holds one-day course on transport

Builders merchant organisation the Builders Merchants Federation is to hold a one-day course for merchant transport managers.

The ‘Licence Protection’ course will be held on 23 May 2012 in Nottingham at the premises of Nottingham independent builders merchant John A Stephens .

It is designed to help you eliminate the cost of unnecessary graduated fixed penalties. It is geared specifically toward protecting members’ Operator’s Licences, ensuring that delegates have knowledge and understanding of legislation and activities used during daily driving.

It will also be a refresher for traffic office staff and transport managers.

The course will cover legislation concerning the operator’s licence, EU Drivers’ hours, Tachograph Use, vehicle maintenance, driver licensing and the powers of enforcement – VOSA and Traffic commissioners. Details and a booking form are available by clicking
