Aico sponsors Wales’ Biggest Housing Event

Aico will be exhibiting at, and sponsoring, TAI 2019 – Wales’ largest housing event, beiAico pop upng held 1st – 2nd May at Sophia Gardens Arena, Cardiff.

A Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) event, TAI 2019 provides visitors with access to keynote speakers and specialist workshops based around this year’s theme: our homes, our people, our future.  A fundamental part of this theme addresses the importance of listening to those with the expertise to drive and inform change, whilst being brave and courageous in taking risks, investing resources and making things happen.

Aico’s stand at TAI 2019 will focus on its new 3000 Series, which encompasses both Fire and Carbon Monoxide detection, providing whole property coverage from one series.  A highlight of the 3000 Series is Aico’s very first Multi-Sensor Heat & Carbon Monoxide Alarm.  All alarms in the series feature Aico’s latest technologies, including AudioLINK data extraction and SmartLINK wireless interconnection and whole system data monitoring capability.

Aico is not only exhibiting but is also a key sponsor at TAI 2019. In addition, Aico has also sponsored the Housing Festival which has been incorporated into this year’s TAI event for the first time.  Aimed at frontline staff, the Housing Festival addresses real housing practice and practical ways to improve housing every day.  Visitors to the Housing Festival will be greeted by a welcome speech from Aico’s Regional Specification Manager for Wales, Dan Thomas.

This hands-on approach to Housing is sure to be enhanced by the presence of one of Aico’s Mobile Training & Demonstration Units.  The Mobile Unit features information boards on all Aico technologies, such as AudioLINK data extraction, and alarm ranges with fully functional product attached, along with a virtual video tour of the company’s manufacturing process in Shannon, Ireland.  Aico staff will be on board to offer visitors advice on Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarm specification, installation and maintenance.

Aico, an Ei company, is the market leader in residential Fire and Carbon Monoxide protection in the UK.  All alarms are designed and built in Ireland specifically to meet the UK standards and regulations.  For more information please go to www.aico.co.uk or contact Aico on 01691 664100 or enquiries@aico.co.uk.
