Social housing operators Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS) and Leicester City Council have signed a three-year agreement.
Both organisations will partner to support residents in Leicester City Council’s approx. 19,500 properties across the region. the agreement will see TPMS provide a managed service to Leicester City Council, supplying materials to repair and maintain its property portfolio.
TPMS will supply essential materials for heating, plumbing, electrical equipment, doors, glazing, and uniforms from its primary distribution hub in Northampton to Leicester City Council’s hub on Leycroft Road.
Social housing account director at Travis Perkins Managed Services, Nicola Clayton, said “This new agreement with Leicester City Council puts the needs of the residents at the heart of the partnership. It will also make life more convenient for their operatives, giving them access to the right materials at the right time and reducing their travel time. This means residents can benefit from the highest possible standards of housing and timely repairs and maintenance.”
