Independent timber, building materials and fencing merchants Lawsons has set up a partnership with GB10 Sports to supply the materials for the continued development of the community-focused sports facility in Eltham.

Ciaran Morton, group marketing director for Lawsons said: “Lawsons has been going for 100 years as a family business and that’s why we’re very excited to be working with GB10 Sports. The business itself has Quaker origins which means it has a responsibility to the community. We have a very active involvement with community projects and we think that GB10’s policy of inclusion of providing sport for all really resonated with our company values.”
Ricky Coakley, group operations director for Lawsons added: “There is plenty of work to be done at the GB10 Sports site and we believe in what they’re trying to do and absolutely believe that aligning ourselves in the local community is something that we want. We’re very much looking forward to partnering up and doing some serious work down here at GB10 Sports.”
GB10 Sports Chairman, Paul Whitehead, said: “I’m over the moon to get Lawsons on board. They’re a great, local company who are prominent in the south east and their community and family values align with ours at GB10. This is a partnership that we want to grow. We have several years worth of building work that we’ll want to do and it will be fantastic if we can work together throughout that period.”
