The strongest man in Europe works for builders merchant Travis Perkins.
Ben “Badger” Brunning took first place at the Official Strongman Games European Championship in Rotherham on Sunday August 4th.
The 31-year-old is now looking forward to the world championships in Florida, but still had to be back in the Travis Perkins yard at 7am the morning after his European triumph.
“Someone else was taking the day off, it is what it is,” the 22stone Brunning, who comes from Bala told the BBC.
