Snows Timber unveils new operations director

Snows Timber has announced the appointment of Dean Short as its operations director and will start his new role with the company on 1st June 2015.

Short replaces Paul Trevelyan, who retired at the end of March.

Starting as an engineering craft apprentice, Short, aged 44, joins Snows having accumulated a diverse industrial background in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma plus a Masters degree in Manufacturing Management.

Earlier this month Snows named Mark Bowers as commercial director, amalgamating the roles of procurement and sales & marketing.
