Rudridge celebrates Horsham birthday with unusual cake

Managers and staff at the branch in Howards Estate on Handcross Road marked the occasion with a cake shaped to look like a full Rudridge Bulk Bag.

The branch opened in July 2013 with just six members of staff, but now the team has almost doubled to include 11 full time employees.

John Chesson, Horsham branch manager, said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our first year of business today. The past year has been hard work and not without its risks but it’s great that we have now almost doubled our staff to keep up with demand and are looking forward to the years ahead.”

Robert Rudd, managing director of Rudridge, said: “On behalf of everyone at Rudridge, I would like to thank those who helped celebrate this fantastic first year for the branch and those who made it all possible, the hard working staff. We have been so well received into the Horsham community and I look forward to many more prosperous years to come.”
