Builders merchant appoints new managing director

Rushworth has a wealth of industry experience, working with a range of businesses including Wolseley UK and Screwfix Direct. At Screwfix Direct, as marketing director from 1997 to 2005, she helped grow the turnover from £10m to £250m and to make it into the household name it is today. In 2005 she became marketing director for Wolseley UK.

“Ridgeons is a company that I have known and admired for some time,” Rushworth says. “The company really takes care of its customers and has high standards of presentation within the branches. I plan to maintain our growth and further improve our customer service. Most importantly I will ensure that we continue to develop our people to achieve their full potential within the Ridgeons Group.
