TrustMark, the government endorsed quality scheme for home improvements, has began its search for a new chief executive officer.

The incumbent CEO, Simon Ayers MBE, has decided to retire from the business, after 11 years.

The company is beginning its search now to provide ample time for a thorough recruitment process and an orderly transition during a period of change and reform within the sector.

Ayers commnted, “Leading TrustMark throughout the last 11 years has been one of the most heartening experiences in my long career. The passion and commitment of the TrustMark team is second to none and that unwavering focus on improving things for the consumer is testament to the business TrustMark is today. While I will be leaving the business, it’s vital that we have an orderly and measured handover with the next CEO of TrustMark to ensure continuity of that focus and delivery of the next chapter for the business.”

The search is being handled by specialist recruitment agency, Recruitment Revolution.
