Travis Perkins opens branch in Oban

Travis Perkins has announced it is relocating from Soroba Road to a new branch at Glenshellach Business Park on October 23.

The new Oban branch boasts a hard landscaping display and paint mixing service, customers will also have greater choice when it comes to trading; be it in branch or online by using its App.Travis Perkins Oban

Branch manager, Chris Agg, said: “We’re really excited to be re-opening our doors to the tradespeople and builders of Oban, and our nine-strong team will continue to do what matters for the trade.

“This branch will have everything they need, when and where they need it, and will deliver them value, convenience and consistency in a more sustainable branch. We’re looking forward to welcoming and supporting all of our customers with choice, quality, and brilliant service day-in, day-out and offer a fantastic delivery and collection service that doesn’t compromise them on time.”

Customers can also use the fast and convenient one hour Click & Collect service, as well as a Branch Delivery Tracking Service, which gives customers the best possible delivery notifications in real-time without having to make a telephone call.

As part of Travis Perkins’ commitment to minimise carbon emissions by 90% this the site will include electric forklift trucks. This innovation will help to deliver on its ambition of decarbonizing its fleet and becoming a net-zero carbon producer.
