Setcrete Rapid S1 Tile Adhesive is designed for tiling installations that need to be completed quickly.
The adhesive has an open time of 25 minutes, a pot life of 45 minutes and is set and ready to grout from just three hours, and combines excellent bond strength with inherent flexibility to combat moderate movement and vibration.
Setcrete Rapid S1 Tile Adhesive conforms to British standard BS EN12004, and is formulated for internal and external applications, being ideal for tiling wet rooms and power showers, and suitable for installing both wall and floor tiles, including large format tiles.
The adhesive bonds with a wide range of tiles, including porcelain, ceramic and natural stone, and can be applied over absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces, including subfloors that are subject to limited movement and vibration. It is also suitable for use over underfloor heating systems and for bed depths up to 15mm.
It is available in white and grey and is supplied in 20 kg lined paper sacks, and the adhesive is complemented by Setcrete Rapid Flex Tile Grout, suitable for joints up to 15mm wide and also available in white and slate grey colours.
