Selco Builders Warehouse, the fast growing builders’ merchant, has acquired a former Carpetright warehouse in Salford, as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
The company has taken a 15-year lease on the 19,671 sq ft former Carpetright premises with car parking on Regent Road, Salford. When the trade centre opens in early 2020 it will be Selco’s fifth location in the North West of England with other sites at Ardwick, Ashton-under-Lyne, Wythenshawe and Warrington.
Stuart Doolittle, acquisitions manager at Selco Trade Centres, said: “With Selco Builders Warehouses already established and operating successfully around Greater Manchester and Warrington, this store in Salford will provide our customers with a complete service across the city and further afield.
“This prominent location will already be known to many people and we’re planning something special with the signage to ensure it can’t be missed.”
