From May 1 until the end of June woodcare specialists Sadolin are boosting sales of their new Ultra Highly Translucent Woodstain system with an eyecatching in-store promotion.

When stockists place an order for 50 litres or more of Sadolin Ultra (Basecoat or Topcoat) they will receive 10 FM/AM battery operated radios, designed to look just like a can of Ultra. These are for over the counter sales promotion – any customer purchasing at least 5 litres of Ultra Basecoat or one of the 16 coloured Ultra top coats can request one of the radios free of charge.

In addition to the Ultra can radios, merchants will also receive posters and ‘can wobblers’ to draw attention to the offer, a tin of biscuits to share with the team and an entry into the Golden Ticket prize draw to win £100 worth of Capital Bond vouchers. These can be spent on a massive range of goods and services from UK retailers and other organisations.

Brand Manager Liz Bowater says: “Now that the exterior decorating and maintenance season is getting into full swing we want to maximise sales of Ultra, our premium highly translucent woodstain system, by making it the focus of the popular Golden Ticket promotion for May and June. For many decorators working outdoors with no access to power supplies, a battery operated radio is a ‘must have’ item in the toolkit. We think this model with its quirky design is going to be a great hit with everyone.”
