Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Drainage and water supply manufacturer Polypipe Building Services has donated materials to Valley Invicta Primary School in Aylesford to help reinvigorate its playground.
The donated pipes and pallets were used to create interactive water features for the children, responding to the school’s wider fundraising initiative to improve its play facilities.
Alongside local schools, the manufacturer also sponsors a local football team and raises money for its chosen charity of the year. At its 2025 annual quiz night, the Polypipe team raised £1,016 for the charity Holding On, Letting Go, which supports bereaved children, young people and their families.
Tom Murray, managing director of Polypipe Building Services, explains: “We see supporting local schools and charities as a core part of our commitment to create long-term value in our community. Our team continues to show what it means to be an engaged and responsible business through taking part in meaningful, local initiatives we can really be proud of.”
