Polypipe Building Services appoints new UK sales and marketing director

Polypipe Building Services has appointed Simon Russell as its UK sales and marketing director, strengthening support for sales teams and key partners as the business moves towards a more holistic approach.

Russell has been with PBS for over two years, and in previous role as regional sales director, he drove revenue growth through effective market analysis and execution of sales strategies, implementing cross-functional collaboration across marketing, operations, and the wider leadership team. This promotion will support Genuit Group’s wider business aim to create clearer, customer-focused divisions and enhance collaboration.

This appointment follows a wider leadership restructure within Genuit. Alongside Tom Murray’s appointment as managing director of Polypipe Building Services, Andy Cullum, formerly managing director of PBS, has taken on the new role of managing director of the Commercial Buildings Segment within Genuit’s Water Division.
