A super-tough, new, British-made toolbox has been launched by online retailer PlasticBoxShop.
Suitable for commercial, hobby, or domestic use, the toolbox has been developed from the tried and tested Wham BamBox range of ‘virtually indestructible’ plastic storage boxes, among PlasticBoxShop’s bestsellers.
It’s made from a newly developed material designed to resist high impact damage, even at low temperatures, which can make some plastics brittle.
Gary Lyons, founder of PlasticBoxShop, said: “Our customers have been really impressed with the strength and durability of the Wham BamBox range, so having a toolbox or hobby box made from the same tough-as-old-boots material is bound to be popular, especially with Christmas coming.”
The toolbox has a deep graphite-coloured base with a removable dual-compartment insert tray, and a hinged snap-shut lid in a choice of silver or orange. Even filled with heavy tools, it can be safely lifted using the sturdy metal handle with ridged grip. The chunky aluminium handle is firmly attached to the body of the box, not the lid.
Measuring 40cm long by 23cm wide and 25cm deep, the Wham Bam Toolbox is big enough to hold a good selection of hand tools or most handheld power tools such as a drill, jigsaw, or grinder.
Close it up and sit on it while you work on a car wheel, or use it as a step for a few inches’ extra height – it can take the strain.
