Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
PHG, the plumbing, heating and bathroom buying group for the UK hosted the PHG Supplier Awards at the Carden Park Hotel in Chester on 19th May 2022.
Hosted by chairman David Pochin, the categories and nominees were:
- PHG Innovation Award – Altecnic, Crosswater, Gledhill, Imex, Scalemaster and STH Westco.
- PHG Instinct Supplier of the Year – Gledhill, Roper Rhodes, STH Westco and Vogue.
- PHG Plumbing Supplier of the Year – Altecnic, Lawton Tubes, Scalemaster, STH Westco and Viva Sanitary.
- PHG Bathroom Supplier of the Year – Grant Westfield, Heritage Bathrooms, Merlyn, Roper Rhodes and Vado.
- PHG Heating Supplier of the Year – EPH Controls, Gledhill, Grant, Ideal Heating, IRSAP and Resideo.
- PHG Overall Supplier of the Year.
The awards celebrate and recognise excellence in the plumbing, heating and bathroom industry. Over 249 guests from the plumbing, heating and bathroom sector attended the event, including 191 supplier representatives joined by 58 PHG representatives. The event is one of the largest independent gatherings of plumbing, heating & bathroom suppliers and independent merchants in the industry. PHG now has 16 members operating out of 287 branches in the UK.
The PHG Supplier Awards celebrated both 2020 & 2021, due to the awards not being able to take place in the previous years due to the pandemic.
The winners were:

- PHG Plumbing Supplier of the Year – STH Westco
- PHG Bathroom Supplier of the Year – Heritage Bathrooms,
- PHG Heating Supplier of the Year – Ideal Heating,
- PHG Overall Supplier of the Year – Roper Rhodes
