PHG crowns supplier winners

Ideal Heating was the overall winner of at the PHG Plumbing Heating Group Annual Supplier Awards held at Carden Park Hotel in Chester on May 21 2026.

The event brought together 268 guests from the plumbing, heating and bathroom sector, including 199 supplier representatives and 63 PHG representatives. PHG now has 15 members operating out of 308 branches in the UK.

The awards, hosted by magical host Paul Martin, featured the following categories and nominees (winners in bold):

• Instinct Plumbing & Heating Supplier of the Year – the nominees were Gledhill, Ideal Heating, Intatec & Wilo.
• Instinct Bathroom Supplier of the Year – the nominees were Bristan, Highlife Bathrooms, Imex and Roper Rhodes.
• Bathroom Supplier of the Year (under £1m) – the nominees were Flova, Highlife Bathrooms, Salamander & Utopia.
• Bathroom Supplier of the Year (over £1m) – the nominees were Bristan, Ideal Standard, Imex, Merlyn & Roper Rhodes.
• Heating Supplier of the Year (under £1m) – the nominees were Advanced Water, Fernox, Scalemaster & Wilo.
• Heating Supplier of the Year (over £1m) – the nominees were EPH Controls, Ideal Heating, Stelrad & Worcester Bosch.
• Plumbing Supplier of the Year (under £700k) – the nominees were Arctic Hayes, FM Products, Instantor and Siamp.
• Plumbing Supplier of the Year (over £700k) – the nominees were Lawton Tube, Navigator, RWC, Viva Sanitary and Wirquin.
• Overall Supplier of the Year: Ideal Heating
• Most Engaged Supplier Team Member: Rebecca Shuck, Grundfos

Ian Beggs, new PHG chairman for 2026 said: “This event has established itself as the primary lightside networking gathering now in the industry, and continues to be very well represented at senior levels right across the market. I am delighted not only for all the winners – who thoroughly deserved it, but also for all the nominee’s who should be equally proud of their recognition.”

As part of the celebrations, attendees enjoyed a full programme of daytime activities at Carden Park, including a Golf Competition, Spa Experience and outdoor team-building events such as Foot Golf, Archery, Segways and Live Clay Shooting. The event closed with after-dinner entertainment from Nigel Owens MBE, the most-capped referee in world rugby who entertained the audience.

PHG raised over £6,000 for Myaware after hosting a charity raffle at the event. This year PHG are matching the funds raised on the night and £13,000 will be donated to the charity.
