Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Independent family- run plumbing and heating merchant Beggs & Partners, headquartered in Northern Ireland, has bought the Just Add Water bathroom showrooms in Barnet and Buckhurst Hill, along with the former Fayers Plumbing & Building Supplies operations at both locations.
The company said the move strengthens its position as a leading independent plumbing, heating and bathroom specialist, supporting both trade and retail customers.
On its LinkedIn page, the company stated: “The Just Add Water brand brings a strong reputation for premium design, product expertise and customer service, values that align perfectly with ours. Customers can expect the same high-quality experience, now enhanced by Beggs and Partners’ wider resources, logistics and buying power. We’re also investing significantly in refurbishing trade counters and store environments, with a particular focus on showcasing the Instinct brand.”
Fayers was placed in administration on June 8th, and the Enfield branch, plus 19 staff, has been acquired by UK Plumbing Supplies.
