Normans announces new sales and marketing leaders

Normans, a leading builders’ merchant and materials distributor on Jersey, welcomes Paula Thomas and Arlene Maltman to its leadership team.

The merchant announced the additions following the arrival of Martina McGibney as managing director in early 2025, appointing Paula Thomas as sales director, and Arlene Maltman as head of marketing.

Both Thomas and Maltman are long-term Jersey residents having built their careers on the island, and are active members of the island’s communities.

McGibney said: “I’m delighted that both Paula and Arlene have joined Normans and at such an exciting time for the business. We’ve got ambitious growth plans to support the Island’s communities of builders, farmers, tradespeople, and also the many organisations and local residents that depend on Normans for the wide range of materials and equipment we offer. I’m very proud of the excellent service that my colleagues offer customers in all of our branch operations, and believe that Paula and Arlene will be key members of my leadership team as we build Normans forward.”
