Leyland SDM attended Pride in London and with a stall that held a spin-to-win competition and free face painting, demonstrating its support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Leyland SDM had a stand outside the Canadian High Commission on Pall Mall East an estimated 30,000 revellers from 600 organisation went past the tent during the parade.
Cliff Rendell, people director at Leyland SDM, said: “Pride in London 2023 was an incredible event and one which we were extremely proud to be a part of.
“With 33 stores in prominent locations across London, we are fiercely proud of the city and the vast diversity of people that make it what it is. Pride in London is an amazing celebration of that diversity and it is a privilege to be involved.”
It is the second year Leyland SDM has been represented at Pride in London, having made its debut at the event in 2022.
Rendell also added: “It is also an opportunity to show our support for the members of the LGBTQ+ community amongst our 450 strong workforce. Inclusivity is one of our core values that we hold dear every day of the year.”
