Lafarge Tarmac wins Marketing Excellence Award

Building materials producer Lafarge Tarmac triumphed at the Marketing Excellence Awards this week (February 12) at a ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Its resealable tubs range, popular with small builders, plumbers, electricians and DIY-ers won Lafarge Tarmac the Excellence Award in the Construction/Engineering/Manufacturing category.

The supplier saw off competition from organisations including Caterpillar, NHBC, Crossrail and British Gas to win the prestigious award.

The Marketing Excellence Awards, hosted by the Chartered institute for Marketing, recognise excellence and outstanding marketing in various industry sectors.

Mike Lomax, marketing communication manager for Lafarge Tarmac, said: “Winning such a prestigious award, which is recognised by our whole industry, is testimony to the great popularity we have seen with our innovative plastic tubs range. We are very proud to receive this recognition on behalf of the whole team behind the products and look forward to all the exciting innovations we have in store for 2014.”
