Kerridge Commercial Systems launches Sales Rep Portal to assist remote sales teams

Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) has extended its online trading offering with the launch of K8 Sales Rep Portal, a quick-to-deploy, web-based product that allows field sales teams to take orders while working away from the office. The site can be accessed from anywhere with a suitable internet connection and can be used on smartphone and tablet devices.

Designed for occasional users, K8 Sales Rep Portal does not require users to have an in-depth knowledge of the core K8 system. Logins to the K8 Sales Rep Portal are secured and validated against a user’s credentials in K8, providing users with immediate access to customers, product and stock information. It is also possible to access top-level sales metrics, which includes sales performance, average order values and summary totals for credits raised.

Locating customer records is similar to searching directly in K8; all matching records are retrieved and the user can choose the correct one before placing the order.

K8 Sales Rep Portal also shows current stock levels at any branch, including what non-reserved stock is due to arrive on purchase orders.
