Independent builders merchant JT Atkinson has opened a second outlet at its Appleby-in-Westmoreland branch.
The larger edge of town operation will give customers more choice and easy access.
The company will maintain its traditional town centre store as well, but the new premises at the Crosscroft Industrial Estate offer more space for increase stock, larger sizes of timber and more choice of roofing products.
Branch manager Phillip Cooper is running both operations.
