Jewson has named Thierry Dufour as its new Managing Director.

Dufour has a long-standing career in the construction industry, with more than 12 years’ experience, most recently as Finance Director of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution. As Managing Director, Dufour will be responsible for the strategic progress of the business and ensuring that Jewson continues to provide the best possible service and support for customers.

 

Speaking about his new roke, Dufour said: “A primary focus for me is ensuring we have the best systems, people and processes in place to meet the needs of our customers. It’s our job to make sure we are as easy to do business with as possible by constantly investing in the latest systems, training, technologies and our supply chain.
 

“At the same time, we’ll be continuing our industry-leading training for branch teams so our customers can get the expert advice they need, when they need it.”

 

In his former role, Thierry headed up both finance and IT teams for Saint-Gobain Building Distribution of which Jewson is part. Thierry will be based at the Jewson head office in Binley, Coventry and takes over from Mark Rayfield who returns to the United States to become President and CEO of CertainTeed and Regional CEO of Saint-Gobain Construction Products for North America.
