Builders’ merchant Jewson has opened a new 22,000 square foot branch in Northampton.

The branch, on the Kings Heath Industrial Estate, forms part of a new Trade Park, and is located alongside outlets of sister companies Graham, The Plumbers’ Merchant, and tile supplier, CTD.
The site has undergone an extensive £1.5 million transformation, having been vacant for the last three years. The site now also houses a new purpose built storage zone, and a regional sales centre for Jewson.
Mark Rayfield, chief executive of Jewson, Graham and CTD said: “The UK’s construction sector is experiencing a period of growth , and with its central location, Northampton is at the very heart of it making it the ideal site for the new Trade Park.
“By housing Jewson along with Graham and CTD, at the same address, customers can visit one site to purchase all their building materials and supplies. This is just one of many ways we aim to help our customers get what they need to get the job done, and help simplify the supply chain for the UK’s construction industry.”
Jewson is set to open more branches as part of the new Trade Park concept over the coming months, having launched another park in Gloucester in early January.
