Jewson branches targeted by thieves

Two branches of builders merchant Jewsonwere broken into on the same weekend – nearly 400 miles apart.

Thieves stole fuel worth £200 from two trucks at the Jewson branch in Perth, while the branch in Hereford lost power tools worth around £10,000 including angle grinders, hammer drills, nail guns and saws, when the store was broken into between 5.30pm on Thursday, 9 February and 7.10am on Friday, 10 February.

The offenders got into the top yard of the site before breaking into the back of the store.
