James Burrell Builders Merchants are delighted to announce that Rob Richardson has joined the board of directors alongside Steve Richardson and Mark Richardson.
Richardson joined the company back in October 2012 where he began working in the yard at the companies Head Office in Gateshead and went on to work in several areas of the business before being promoted to the board of directors. These areas include; branch sales, contract sales, policy management and trade collect sales development. Since January 2019, he has been working as the companies Commercial Manager.
He has had extensive experience working in the industry. From 2011 to 2012 he worked in various roles at Beesley and Fildes including working in their timber yard and their transport office. Richardson’s brother Nick Richardson is also working in the company’s Accounts Office, where he is currently developing his knowledge and understanding of the business.
Richardson said, “As my family have always been involved in the building industry, my interest started at a young age which ultimately paved my future career path. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some great people within the industry which has really allowed me to further develop my builder’s merchant knowledge. I have now been at James Burrell for 7 years and I am looking forward to joining the board of directors and to help shape the future of James Burrell Builders Merchants”.
