Jackson Building Centres opens new merchant branch

Lincoln-based builders merchants Jackson Building centes opened their 26th branch yesterday, in Alford, Lincolnshire.
The branch will stock the full range of building materials and plumbing and heating supplies, plus feature a tool hire centre and kitchen, bathrooms and fireplace showroom.

The manager, newly appointed, is Mark Pellow who opened the branch in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 1.

Marketing manager Colin Bartleet said: “The new branch will enable us to provide customers in the Alford and surrounding areas with excellent service and products to meet the growing demand from customers”.

A 27th branch is promised for York early in 2009.
