Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Hilton Banks Group, the family-owned company behind the HB42® brand of adhesives, fillers, sealants and coatings has bought specialist paint manufacturer Flag Paints Ltd, based in Burnham on Crouch, Essex.
Flag Paints, established in 1939, has built a strong reputation for manufacturing high-quality paints, coatings, and surface finishes for various industries, including marine, decorative, and industrial sectors.
This strategic acquisition will enable Hilton Banks to leverage Flag Paints’ extensive research and development and manufacturing capabilities.

Flag Paints’ existing operations in Essex will continue to operate under the Hilton Banks umbrella.
