David Haldane, chief executive at Haldane Group, said: “The combined efforts of our employees and their dedication towards completing this challenge serves as an example of Haldane Group’s commitment towards bettering our communities, something which we are all extremely proud of.

“Raising this outstanding level of funding for a very worthy cause will no doubt go a long way towards combatting suicide and providing assistance to those who need it the most.”

CALM provides helpline and webchat services which are available 365 days a year and offers practical suggestions for all of life’s problems, helping people to begin to look to the future.

“I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to all those who took part and thank all the family members, friends and colleagues who made such generous donations – without your support none of this would have been possible,” added Haldane.Image 3

Completing the National 3 Peaks Challenge requires participants to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon and represents a total walking distance of 23 miles and a combined ascent of 10,052ft.

This latest fundraising campaign forms part of Haldane Group’s wider commitment to community development which have seen the business donate over £15,000 to charitable causes this year alone.
