Birmingham-based independent builders merchant EH Smith is to start selling plumbing & heating materials at its Birmingham branch from next week.
The 89-year old company, a member of the CEMCO buying group, has long been a specialist in the sale of bricks and heavyside building materials, however, next Monday (March 21) sees the start of a launch event at the Longbridge branch to celebrate the launch of the new venture.
The launch week will include free bacon butties, supplier demonstrations, limited low price offers, giveaways, not to mention a special lucky dip with over £3000 of spot prizes to be won.
“There’ll be something for everyone who visits the launch week,” says Longbridge branch manager, Nick Perks. “The plumbing and heating manufacturers have been especially brilliant in helping us with one-off special offers and giveaways for the week. Hopefully people from the local community will want to come down and see what we are doing and celebrate with us.”
