EH Smith leads the way with Accident Plaster

EH Smith is the first builders merchant to stock Dr Weils Accident Plaster (First Aid For Tough Trades)

Developed by entrepreneur and former Special Forces medic Hadrian Garner, Accident Plaster is a product that helps trades protect themselves against life threatening infections like Covid 19, Weils Disease and Sepsis while onsite.

The product is a transparent, flexible, waterproof film-skin that is sprayed on to cuts, grazes and burns to form a protective barrier in less than 60 seconds. It sanitises and seals the wound and gives immediate protection and relief. It lasts all day and can be then washed off with soapy water.

Darren Moles from EH Smith said “I was very impressed with the product its ideal for bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers in fact anyone who works on site. In these difficult times Accident Plaster offers welcome protection from the risk of infection as part of your personal PPE. Each tin can deliver over 70 applications, so offers value for money to our customers, while also keeping them safe”.

Garner said “ I’m so pleased EH Smiths are stocking the product. It’s manufactured in the UK and I developed it originally to protect against Weils disease and other infections like the onset of Sepsis. It is now used by many members of UK special forces to safe guard from waterborne and airborne infections while on operations. The transition to the construction industry makes sense given the punishing conditions they work in. Health and Safety managers like it as first aid can be given without touching the injured party. Thus, keeping to Covid protocols on site”.

It should be an essential part of PPI. It comes in a handy size can that can be kept on a tool belt. All this for a RRP of £6.50 per can .
