Lords Builders Merchants incorporating George Lines (Civils & Landscapes Merchants) have appointed Mark Bone as their Commercial Director.
Bone had sold George Lines to Lords in January and remained with the business during the hand over. However, with Lords expansion plans it became apparent to CEO Shanker Patel that Lords could utilise Mark’s considerable experience, knowledge and industry connections to their benefit.
Bone will be responsible for Group Supplier and Customer relationships representing both brands within in the industry.
This appointment comes at a busy time for the Lords Group as it is undertaking several large scale refurbishments of all of its premises and embarking on a digital transformation of its operations as well as continuing to seek more strategic acquisition opportunities.
