The American Pumphrey brothers will appear in the yard at Cowal Building and Plumbing Supplies, who are members of the National Buying Group, and break grey Bradstone Round Top Edging with their bare hands.

The brothers perform stunts like this all over the world and the event at Cowal’s yard will be filmed this Thursday, August 28th.

The programme is following them around to various strongmen events across the world, including the Cowal Games, which is the biggest Highland Games in the world.

The Pumphreys will actually be breaking the slabs at the Games, but will also be filmed ‘testing’ them in the yard at Cowal.

Bradstone, who are supplying the slabs to will be getting some publicity from the event too, says Cowal accountant David Shannon.

“We had a phone call from the production company who were looking for a yard such as ours to start the filming in and for someone to supply the slabs to the second event at the Games,” he told buildersmerchantjournal.net.
