Independent builder’s merchant Beesley & Fildes, which has 11 North West branches, has opened a dedicated roofing centre at its Radcliffe branch near Manchester to serve the north west’s trade requirements.
The new facility, which launched in April, is headed up by Beesley & Fildes’ roofing product manager, Steve Linacre who has more than 40 years’ worth of building experience, branch manager Mark Fox and in branch roofing expert Nick Ashe.
Linacre said: “We’re truly excited about our latest venture because it’s completely new to Radcliffe and provides an ideal location for the entire area’s roofing trade. It’s a place where customers can instantly identify what they need and trust that every item offers premium quality and ease of use. The feedback from our customers has been great so far and this all points to a promising year that’s filled with huge sales potential.”
The new counter is located at Beesley & Fildes, Lord Street, Radcliffe, Manchester, M26 3BA. The branch is open from Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. The product selection, including Timloc tile vents, Marley’s full system for solar panels and Firestone’s rubber for flat roofs, as well as lanterns, slates and felts, is designed to cover all roofing eventualities, from a simple repair to more complex projects, while ensuring that the branch benefits from increased grab and go sales.
