Acquisition takes Drakes to eight branches

Plumbers merchant Drakes Plumbing Supplies has acquired A&C Plumbing Supplies in Whitstable.
The move means the Tunbridge Wells-based company now has eight branches across its Kent and Sussex network.

“Whitstable is a great addition to Drakes’ branch network,” managing director Andy Clark says. “We believe that Whitstable’s plumbing customers will appreciate our knowledge and professionalism, coupled with our keen prices.”

Drakes’ founder and chairman David Aisher says: “Our new Whitstable branch is part of Drakes’ strategic growth plan. Expect to see more announcements and locations across the South East soon.”
