H&B reveals new chairman

Steve Durdant-Hollamby has been appointed chairman of H&B, the independent builders merchant buying group, which has over 100 members.

He brings a wealth of experience from across the building materials industry, including senior leadership experience with Lords Group Trading and Genuit Group.

Having worked across both merchanting and manufacturing, Durdant-Hollamby brings a valuable perspective to H&B and a real understanding of what makes successful partnerships between independent merchants and suppliers work.

He says: “I’m incredibly excited to be taking on the role of chairman of H&B. It’s a fantastic group with ambitious independent merchants and great supplier partners. I’m looking forward to working with everyone involved, building on H&B’s success and helping make the next chapter an exciting one for the whole group.”
