Manufacturer Makita’s new SC001GZK Steel Rebar Cutter 40VMax XGT allows trade professionals to cut rebar without the constraints of a cord.
The SC001GZK Steel Rebar Cutter can cut 16mm of rebar in 1.7 seconds, 65% faster than the previous 18V model. Its spark-free cutting process creates minimal debris and ensures a safer working environment.
Weighing in at 6kg when fitted with the BL4025 battery, the cordless machine’s compact design allows for freedom of movement, accessing hard-to-reach areas on site and eliminating potential trip hazards.
The tool features a 360° rotating head and an adjustable stopper to hold the rebar at a perfect 90° angle.
A reliable solution for high volume tasks, the Steel Rebar Cutter delivers 250 cuts per charge on a 2.5Ah, general-use BL4025 Li-ion battery, which can be used across Makita’s complete range of 40VMax XGT tools.
