Williams & Co gets “inspiring companies” tag

Independent trade-only plumbers merchant Williams & Co has been identified by the London’s Stock Exchange as making an extraordinary contribution to economic growth and employment.
The report, which covered 4.5m small and medium-sized companies in Britain, focused on sustained financial performance and job creation to create an index of the 1,000 most inspiring companies in the nation. One of those companies was the 28-branch Williams & Co, another was foundry company Hargreves Drainage.

Williams’ managing director Ray Stafford said: “I am delighted that the London Stock Exchange has taken this opportunity to recognise the exceptional growth that we have achieved by delivering outstanding service and the best possible net prices to our ideal customer – the small to medium-sized plumbing and heating business.”
