Jewson donates to Henley schools

Henley in Bloom has given two boxes to Rupert House School, St Mary’s School and Trinity, Valley Road, Badgemore and Sacred Heart primaries.
Colin Bishop and Andrew Hawkins created the boxes using wood donated by Jewson in Reading Road and cut down by Henley Town Council’s parks services staff.

Lesley Crockett, headteacher of Badgemore, said: “We are very grateful to receive these donations from Henley in Bloom. We are a forest school and this sort of initiative fits directly into our curriculum and is a wonderful addition.”

Beth Wood, branch manager for Jewson, said: “It is nice to be able to support the community. We like to do all we can for nature and schoolchildren.”
