Ridgeons appoints new operations director

Ridgeons, the East Anglian independent timber and builders’ merchants, has appointed Gary Eggleston, as the new operations director.

Primarily based at Ridgeons’ Cromwell Road branch in Cambridge, Eggleston will provide direction to branch teams, review performance, explore relevant opportunities and add value for customers, staff and stakeholders. He worked in the industry for over 25 years and his experience includes similar roles at Focus DIY.

Ridgeons’ managing director, Angela Rushforth, says: “We are pleased to welcome Gary to the company and to this new role, and wish him every success.
