Trade-only plumbers merchant Williams & Co has opened its 19th branch today (June 6).
The new branch is at the Beddington Trade Park in Croydon and was opened by marketing consultant Tony Worrall and Williams executive chairman Mick Williams.
The company has already opened branches in Slough and Gosport so far this year. Its 20th branch is planned for Maidstone later this Summer.
Williams says that wherever there is a town large enough to support the national plumbers merchant chain then there is a scope for the company to set up as “an independent alternative”.
