Building materials manufacturer Wienerberger has extended its partnership with homeless charity Emmaus UK, committing to donate 50p for every full pallet of Danum and Dual Danum TLE concrete roof tile products sold in 2025.
Danum TLE tiles, a recent addition to Wienerberger’s concrete roof tile portfolio, are produced at the manufacturing sites in both the North and South of England, ensuring nationwide accessibility for customers.
The business forged a partnership with Emmaus UK when it launched its first social impact strategy in 2024. As part of this, the business contributed £10,000 to the charity’s Companion Training and Wellbeing Fund, a grants programme which allows companions to access funding for training and education, including opportunities within the construction sector.
Sarah Nurton, social impact manager at Wienerberger, said: “We are proud of the impact we’ve already made through our partnership with Emmaus UK. Our collaboration isn’t just about donations—it’s about creating lasting change. By funding housing projects and essential services, we’re helping to provide not just shelter, but stability and opportunity.”
Through this charitable partnership, Wienerberger aims to donate £55, 000 this year.
