Triton has continued its ongoing support of Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice with a sizeable donation.

Employees at the Nuneaton-based business came together to raise more than £2,000 for the charity, with a seasonal raffle that included items donated by the team.

Zoë’s Place provides respite, palliative and end of life care to babies and infants who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The centre features a tranquil garden space and stimulating sensory room, as well as organising play sessions tailored to each child, giving each individual personal and tailored care. The hospice is usually open seven days a week, however due to challenges presented during the pandemic, it has been forced to reduce its hours of services to just four days.

Triton’s latest fundraising efforts follow a £10,000 donation to the hospice’s Shine a Light campaign, helping the charity move closer to its goal of returning to pre-pandemic operational levels.

Tina Simpson, marketing director at Triton Showers, said: “It has been amazing to see the enthusiasm and support our team have shown for Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice. They have always been extremely supportive when it comes to charity initiatives and have proven this once again with their latest fundraising.

“We’re delighted to be able to start the year with a sizeable donation and look forward to continuing our partnership over the months ahead, helping the hospice to deliver valuable services to those in the local community that need it most.”

Tanita Mistry, corporate fundraiser at Zoë’s Place, added: “Triton’s ongoing support is a lifeline for the charity as without donations, we simply wouldn’t be able to continue our work. Their latest donation is a huge boost and will help us edge one step closer to returning our service to pre-pandemic levels, helping as many babies and families as possible. I’d like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to each and every Triton team member, their continued support is astounding and reflects a business that really wants to make a difference to the community.”

Zoës Place is currently accepting places for its upcoming Tour de Zoës cycle fundraiser. The four-day, 270-mile challenge will begin at Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice in Middlesbrough and travel across the breadth of the country to Zoë’s Place Liverpool, before heading south for a triumphant finish at Zoë’s Place Coventry.
