Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Falmouth Rugby Club, one of the oldest rugby clubs in Cornwall, has secured a three-year front-of-shirt sponsorship with Travis Perkins builders’ merchant.
Travis Perkins has partnered with the club, which plays in the Counties 2 Tribute Ale Cornwall league, to become one of its shirt sponsors for the next three seasons. This comes as part of the merchant’s ongoing efforts to support the local community near its branches, in this case the nearest Travis Perkins branch being on Church Hill in Penryn.
Branch manager, Paul Munden, said: “It is great to see our logo on the front of Falmouth’s shirt. The team plays a very big part in the local community, so it’s great to be able to provide them with this kind of support. We look forward to a great relationship with the team over the next three years and following their progress on and off the field.”
