Travis Perkins revamps Maldon branch

Travis Perkins, which is part of Travis Perkins plc and is the UK’s largest distributor of materials to the construction sector, has refurbished its Maldon branch.

It will boast a new Travis Perkins Hire which means that tradespeople and general builders will be able to access full tool hire and specialist equipment. A bigger yard space has also been created for the branch which means it has capacity to store more building, landscaping, and timber supplies. Travis Perkins revamps Maldon branch

Connor Newman, branch manager at Travis Perkins Maldon, said: “It’s been a few months in the making but we’re really excited to share our better than ever branch. We’ve expanded and refurbished our facilities to provide even more building, landscaping and timber supplies and hire products to our customers. Our team has years of experience and first-hand knowledge.”

Customers will also benefit from greater choice when it comes to trading through the branch, online or by using the industry leading Travis Perkins App. The App has been collaboratively developed with customers to help them not only work smarter, but also to save time by allowing them to check stock on the go from their local branch and order instantly with their trade prices.

Alternatively, customers can also use the fast and convenient one hour Click & Collect service, or next day delivery as well as a Branch Delivery Tracking Service, which gives them the best possible delivery notifications in real-time without having to make a phone call.

These innovative ways to trade are designed to save customers time – something which is reported as their biggest pain-point. Combined, these provide a one-stop personalised experience, whether on the move, on site or in-branch – whenever and wherever they need it.
