Travis Perkins opens new branch in Liverpool

Travis Perkins has opened its latest branch in Liverpool, Aintree.

The 2.5 acre branch will include electric forklift trucks and electric charging points. Its yard will boast a range of products including bricks, blocks, timber, lintels, drainage and landscaping, and Travis Perkin’s Benchmarx Kitchen and Joinery showroom in Aintree is located less than one mile from the new branch.

The new branch will feature Travis Perkins’ Hire Service. Customers will be able to hire up-to-date tools, plant, and equipment, get all their building supplies in one go, and get expert advice on how to keep customers safe.

Branch manager, William John Dempsey, said: “We’re really excited to have opened the doors to our new site to the tradespeople and builders of Liverpool. We’re delighted to be offering hard landscaping for the first time as well as showcasing our new Benchmarx kitchen showroom and Hire Service. We have a great team in place and have everything you need, when and where you need it, all in one place. It’s all about doing what matters for the trade.”

The Mayor of Sefton, Councillor Clare Louise Carragher unveiled the new branch, alongside players from Merseyrail FC who attended the opening as guests of honour.

Reg Standish, chair of Merseyrail Ladies FC, said: “We are very lucky to partner up with Travis Perkins and help in the opening and promotion of their new branch in Bootle, Liverpool. It’s great to see a local company helping and backing our women’s football team here at Merseyrail Ladies FC. I hope this is the start of a long partnership in helping the future development of women’s sports in our city.”
