Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Nine directors from builders merchant Travis Perkins’ Northern region are resting up, having completed their gruelling Coast to Coast Cycle Ride in aid of the merchant’s nominated charities Breast Cancer Campaign and Childrens Hospice UK.
Andrew Popple – northern regional managing director, Kevin Robley – northern regional sales director, Marc Chitryn – northern regional director and regional directors Paul McGill, John Burke, Rob Kuzemko, John Gibson, Mark Walker and Simon Wardle cycled 138 miles from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Tynemouth. They were joined by Arwel Edwards & John Keenan from British Gypsum.
The team set out on Wednesday Aug 17 and so far have raised £19,404, just slightly shy of the target £20,000, but the online donation page is still open.
