“We’ve been serving the local community of tradespeople and builders in Tamworth since 2004 and we can’t wait to open our bigger and better relocated site to offer them an even greater service and range of products,” said branch manager Chris Riley.

The site will be a low-carbon branch and will boast full LED lighting, three electric charging points and electric forklift trucks, which will help deliver on Travis Perkins commitment of becoming a net-zero carbon producer.

“We have a great team in place and are ready to serve as a one-stop shop for everyone’s building and construction needs. As well as the 25,000 products available in stock or to order online, we are pleased to be showcasing our new Benchmarx kitchen showroom as well as a landscaping and hire range.”

The current team will transfer to the new site, along with seven new recruits. Other services are available at the site such as their increased timber range, bulk insulation and plasterboard storage and an estimating service.
